Minutes for the June 2001 Meeting of the Fred and Minnie Hill Association.

The G. Fred and Minnie Hill Association met at the home of Yates and Ann on Saturday, June 9^th. 70 family members and guests attended.

Helen presided over the business meeting. An updated list of addresses was distributed. The treasurer having reported a considerable sum in the family fund, family members were asked to think about a special project which the family could undertake. Don and Jo will be having their 50^th wedding anniversary this month. Thanks were expressed to Corie for her work in creating a family website. The December meeting will be held the Sunday before Christmas. Hosts for the June 2002 meeting are needed. Baxter will succeed Helen as president in December. Diane will work with Sue’s collection of photos for preservation and to make computer reproductions. Her expenses will be paid out of the family fund. Francis will help with this project. Bea said that in place of the usual poinsettias she has placed a candle in a ring in each window of the church. The idea of a prayer garden at Piedmont was suggested. Everyone joined hands and sang "Blest Be the Tie."
