Minutes for the December 1998 Meeting of the Fred and Minnie Hill Association.

The December 1998 meeting of the Fred and Minnie Hill Association was held at The Barbeque Place in Rutherfordton.

65 family members and guests attended:

Bea provided the lunch as well as placing poinsettias in the church for Christmas.

Reggie and his family provided music.

Tonya conducted the meeting.

Information sheets (yellow) providing names and addresses of the family were distributed. Diane has additional blank information sheets for those who have additions or changes.

Thank you cards had been received from Rena Davis, the Modene Early family, and Chimney Rock Baptist Church.

The June meeting will be hosted by James and his family. The December meeting will be back at the Barbeque Place.

Bea asked that next year somone take on the task of placing the poinsettias in the church; she will pay for their purchase but needs someone to act on her behalf. Helen and Joyce said they will do this.

Reid and Ruth volunteered to take care of the graves.

Tonya opened the floor for nominations. The following were elected to serve one-year terms:

Helen: Vice-President

Julia: Secy/Treas.

The meeting ended with the singing of "Blest Be the Tie That Binds."
